I am a big fans of youtube.
I watch millions of video and follow so many Youtubers.
After I watched this from one of the Youtube cooking channel.
I was like, pasta is made from flour and water(at least these two ingredients!)

I loves wholewheat and wholemeal foods.
Is really good for dieting people and health.(Will tell you why soon , hand on!)
After I watched this, i google it and search for more information.
AND! FXXX!!!!!!Is a joke!!!!!

This is a big joke!!!!!

Then I read the comments bellow of the video.
Then I found that isn't real.

So BAD!!!!!!But is fun ,haha!

So I guess today I'm gonna talk about wholemeal and wholewheat food,
and the difference between them.




Why do wholegrain, wholemeal , wholewheat foods is good for diet and health?



Frist, you have to know that why fiber is good for health and diet.
If you have follow my blog.
I do always prefer diet people get more fiber in their daily life.


Dietary Fiber(Fiber): 

Fibre is one of the really important nutrients people need to get into their diet and it really isnt as hard as it seems.
you can find fibre in lots of products like: fruit, veggies, dried peas, lentils, nuts, beans, breads, rices, cereals and much more.


To try and get more fibre into your diet try to choose high fibre breakfasts and snacks.

when choosing cereals, look for the fibre intake and choose ones full of dietary fibre. if your going for toast, use wholegrain or fibre bread.

Apples, bananas and other fruit and veg have lots of good fibre and nutrients in them too.

choose wholegrain or wholewheat rices and pasta over normal ones and try adding beans or lentils to some meals.

Foods such as meat, fish, eggs, milk and cheese, table sugar 
and alcohol do not provide dietary fibre!

Fiber is very important to health, it helps the body to remove waste and studies have shown that diets high in fiber help to prevent serious diseases such as heart disease, cancer, and other ailments. Fiber also helps to keep your digestive system healthy because it keeps everything moving along.



Wholegrain foods:

The main reason that whole wheat foods are superior to white flour foods is because they are less processed. When wheat is processed into white flour it is highly refined. This processing removes the "bulk" of the grain, which means that most (if not all) of the healthy fiber is removed from the food.
Whole grain products are high in fiber and nutrition. They even contain protein! Focusing your eating habits around whole grain foods will allow your body to get the nutrition that it needs, especially when you pair the whole grains with other whole foods such as fruits and vegetables, beans and legumes, nuts and seeds, and healthy fats.
When you transition to a whole foods diet you will find that your health will improve. Often, people experience things such as weight loss, better bowel movements, less cravings, more energy, and an overall feeling of health and wellness.




Difference between wholemeal  and whole Wheat!



Wholemeal and whole wheat pastas can generally describe the same product, however, they are not always the same.



Meaning behind wholemeal or whole Grain:


Both wholemeal and whole grain can be used interchangeably, as they both relate to the same thing.

For example, wholemeal pastas are made with the entire grain, which is unrefined and nothing removed. For example, wheat contains three components: the endosperm, the bran and the germ. If we refine wheat through mechanical means, we remove the germ and the bran. The end result is white flour, which is no longer a whole grain. Processing and refining grains often results in a loss of one or more important parts of the natural grain, so wholemeal pastas often mean that they are made with the entire grain still intact. Wholegrain pastas can be made out of wheat, buckwheat, quinoa or brown rice.


The Meaning Behind Whole Wheat:


If a product is termed "whole wheat," it generally means that it is made from wheat or contains wheat.Whole wheat pastas are only whole grain as long as the pasta still contains the endosperm, bran and germ. The only way of knowing this information is by looking on the back of the pasta package at the ingredient label.

Choose wholegrain foods: 

To find if a pasta is really made with a whole grain, when advertised as whole wheat, it is best to check the full list of the ingredients. If the first ingredient is not 100 percent whole wheat, you know that the wheat contained within the pasta isn't a whole grain or wholemeal flour.



Over all to choose food is made from 100% whole grains ,

Check the very first ingredients of the food package!

If the first ingredients is 100% whole grains, it should be a wholegrain food and good food to choose from.



For example, 100% Wholemeal bread,
If the first ingredients is 100% whole grains (flour) and the others ingredients were oil,salt, sugar etc.

This is a wholegrain food and how I called good food.


So, For safety and fun. Always made you own!


How to make your own 100% whole grains pasta:

Make sure you are using 100% whole wheat /100% wholemeal (grains) flour!

There's a lot of recipes though the internet, these is just what i prefer.
Very simple and easy,You can make without any professional machine.

Without eggs and not adding white flour mix etc.





Sometimes if I need a quick meal, I will just go and buy 100% wholemeal pasta.(As most
people will.)
But be really careful on low oil, sugar and salt.

But if I'm free and feel like to having fun in the kitchen.
I made my own.I don't add any oil , sugar, salt.
Just only 100% wholemeal flour with water.
You thought is gonna be no taste?
NO! Cos while cooking. You already adding salt and sauce that kind of stuffs,
No one eat plain pasta right? haha.

Maybe I should do a blog talks about how to make my 100% wholegrain pasta.
