Honey&Oat Dog Cookies Recipe

                                Ingredients:

              The dough:

113g  Unsalted butter
(I use half butter and half olive oil)
1tsp   Vanilla extract
2-3tsp   Cinnamon powder
240g   Flour
(white all-purpose flour or whole wheat flour)
1/2tsp   Baking soda
110g     Sugar
(white /brown sugar)
20g   Honey
20g   Milk
(Any kind of milk or water will do)
200g or more    Quick cooking oats
Pinch of salt

(Extra flour for roll out the dough)

                          Icing:

130g  Powder sugar
2tbsp   Milk / lemon juice / water
(the amounts of liquid depends on how thick or thin you want the icing to be! )
Few drops of fruit coloring (better use the natural fruit coloring)

Preheat the oven to 190C (375F)*

1)  Cream butter and sugar for 2 mins, add the vanilla extract ,cinnamon powder, honey ,milk then mix well.
2)  Mix the flour, baking soda and salt together then add into the wet mixture and mix well.
3)  Fold in oats until they are just combined.
4)  Flour you work surface and roll out the dough about 2cm hight , use any kind of cookie cutter as you like to cut out the shape.Place a baking sheet to the baking pan. Then line the cookies on the baking pan.

5)  Back at 190C for 10-14mins(My oven takes me 14mins.)
Please watch out, they burns so fast!

Let them cool completely on your baking pan.

While cooling , go make the icing.

1)  Mix the powder sugar and milk.
(Add more milk or less depends on how thick/thin you want ur icing to be!!)
2)  Divide the icing to 2-3 bowls then add the fruit coloring.
3)  Place into the pipping bags or plastic bags (A cup will be your good helper).

4)  Cut out a tiny little tip off then decorate to your COMPLETELY COOL cookies.Let them dry then serve!

The reason of   "COMPLETELY COOL cookies"
Is because icing will melt and becomes very runny when they touch to the hot stuff/heat.

So please make sure you got your patience on and wait until those cuties have been COMPLETELY COOL down!

Have you ever realized that your dog doesn't cares about what shape it is?They just needs foods.
But people enjoy those cute little bone shape.Don't you? haha.

My doggy's name on!

BOMB!!!!! You can definitely see that I don't have lots of patience on this.........
But we call that fancy old-fashion lines patterns!!!Cool!

Your dog should be well trained when they have foods!

Nope!!!! One eye blinked doesn't help!..................

There you go..........

Luby , you are the most lucky girl today!Kiss mummy now!!!NOW!

This recipe can make a huge jar.Didn't count how much it have.Cos it depends on what shape and how big you made them.

Not sure this jar will last long or not, my parents loves it so much!!

Make some for your pet and yourself  right now!!!

Hope you like this recipes!
