Ingredients: 8 small buns (I have double the recipe which is down below to make more buns)
2cup All purpose flour
14g Active dried yeast
37g Sugar
1/2tsp Salt
1/2cup Milk
37g Unsalted butter
1.5or 2 Egg york
1/2cup corns
1canned Tuna fish
2tbsp sandwich spread
(One egg york with 2tbsp water for egg wash)
1) Warm up the milk and butter to 37- 40C (you can heat it up with a sauce pan or microwave).
2) Sprinkle the yeast on top of the milk mixture and set it aside for 5-10 mins.
3) Add the flour, sugar, salt and egg york in a big mixing bowl then pour in the milk mixture and whisk the mixture until they are combined, then use a stand mixer with dough hook knead it at medium speed for at least 10mins(or you can knead it by hand , but that's a really hard job! )
4) Shape it into a ball then let it rise at room temperature for 1 hour(in summer, winter may takes 2 hours.)
5) Cook the corns at a huge bowl of boiling water add i little bit of salt if u like.
6) Drain the tuna fish water then add the cooked corns and fold in the sandwich spread.
5) Cut the dough into 8 equal pieces(or less if u want), stuff some tuna mixture into the bread and shape them into balls or any shape that u like, let the rise for another 40-45 mins.(Because i have doubled the recipe so i made lots of bread.u can follow the recipe which i can make 8 little tuna buns.)
6) Coat them with egg wash then bake at 190C for 15-25mins.
**I knead 10 mins with the stand mixer and 20-30 mins by hand! why? Because the more time you knead the dough the dough will be more elastic. The perfect way is knead until u pull a little bit of dough spread it out u can see the light though. But they cames out great with 10mins by stand mixer also.**
This is the very first time I made this buns, look a bit messy but they taste fantastic!!
Trust me! Give it a try,it wont let u down=).
